USA Today: Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a “nocturnal” Walmart shopper

USA Today reports that Dale Earnhardt Jr. enjoys shopping at Walmart late at night and in the wee hours of the morning. Occasionally he gets spotted by fans, however, even ending up on the infamous PeopleofWalmart.com site after one nighttime trip.

The LA Times reports a major comeback for Walmart, with a reported profit of 10.1% in its first quarter. This is in contrast to sales at Gap, which remained steady, and a massive, $163 million loss for JC Penney.
